COURSE CLARIARTE, August 26th - September 4th

The concept of our course with its specific areas of main emphasis listed in the booklet appealed to all participants last year and will be continued in the same way.With the ClariArte Course we really want to cover a wide area that comprises many aspects of the clarinet.

The ClariArts Competition is a particularly striking event in our festival. This competition’s concept is internationally unique and the audience, the judges and we, the professors, were excited and impressed with the level and the creativity of the participants. This year’s new category “Solo Clarinet” will additionally enrich our competition.

Wolfgang Meyer, judge in 2010 and internationally renowned soloist, felt that “ there is nothing comparable in the whole world”.

I would especially like to draw your attention to our “Clarinet Update” day. We’ve succeeded in upgrading this particular day of our event through interesting guests, lectures and discussions around various aspects of the clarinet.

From young talents to ambitious hobby musicians, from students to fully-fledged professional clarinet players, each one of you will be able to profit from this year’s ClariArte and will feel welcomed by us.
